Tutorial Part 1: Initiating an eMail VOICELink Message

The first part of creating a eMail VOICELink message involves addressing the message and selecting a Whiteboard template. Follow the steps below as we take you through initiating your first multimedia email message.

  1. Start eMail VOICELink .

    Start eMail VOICELink by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.

    eMail VOICELink's main window will appear.

  2. Enter the message recipients address .

    Type an email address in the To text box. It can be the address of one of your friends, a co-worker, or any one else you know.

  3. Attach an eMail VOICELink player .

    Click one or both of the check boxes to attach an eMail VOICELink player. Attaching an eMail VOICELink player makes sure that the person receiving your message can play back the message exactly as you recorded it, even if they don't have a full version of eMail VOICELink.

  4. Enter a subject line .

    Type: Greetings in the subject line text box.

  5. Select message tools .

    Click the checkboxes for Voice and Graphics .

  6. Enter a text message .

    Type a text message in the main window text box.

  7. Select a template.

    Click Record Message to open the template dialog box.

    From the Layout tab, select a template and click OK.
